Join us for this engaging four-part webinar series with internationally renowned inclusive education expert Dr Paula Kluth, packed with practical, classroom-ready strategies you can start using in your classroom straight away!
Did you know that concepts like belonging, surprise, and novelty can support the learning of students with disabilities? In this spirited four-part series, participants will learn about a critical research-based element of inclusive education: creating spaces that are welcoming, responsive, playful, and student-centred. Inclusion isn't just about designing accessible lessons; it's also about ensuring that students are comfortable, connected to peers, and ready to learn—elements that are connected to joy.
This series is designed to provide teachers with a wealth of practical ideas to support students with and without disabilities in K–12 classrooms. Topics include creating lesson structures that are both fun and accessible, integrating brain breaks that are energising and age-appropriate, 'making moments' that help students retain content, developing community-building exercises that help learners build communication and social skills, and designing adaptations related to the special interests of individual students.
