Join Dr Paula Kluth for this practical and energising two-part webinar and discover new ways to make co-teaching more collaborative, creative, and effective.
Does your co-teaching team need a creative boost? Are you seeking new ways to use traditional structures or interested in trying new structures? Are you just starting a co-teaching journey? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this professional development opportunity is for you!
In effective co-taught classrooms, educators deliver lessons and share roles in a variety of ways. Specifically, they move beyond using 'one teach/one assist' as their primary collaborative tool to explore dynamic groupings and formats. In these sessions, Dr. Kluth will provide the support needed to make that shift. She will discuss familiar structures - such as duet teaching, parallel teaching, and station teaching. She will also share ways to 'shake up' those structures by shifting roles, modifying materials, and inviting additional collaborative partners. Furthermore, she will introduce three structures that will be unfamiliar to most participants. These include anchor teaching, u-turn teaching, and 'one teach/one make-it-multisensory'.
This two-part webinar is designed for both new and veteran teams. It will provide participants with ideas for delivering content in dozens of ways while offering suggestions for adding joy, fun, and satisfaction to both planning and teaching.
Packed with practical ideas and fresh perspectives, this session will inspire teams to rethink what co-teaching can look like and try new approaches with confidence.
