**SCAREDY CAT DRAWING COURSE****Five Fridays to prove you can draw**
Think you can’t draw? Excellent. You are exactly who this course is for.
Join me for five relaxed, beginner-friendly drawing classes exploring different ways to create an image without the pressure of copying everything perfectly.
Drawing is simply learning to notice **shape, movement, light and dark** until the form begins to appear. There is no single “right” way to do it.
### THE FIVE-WEEK ADVENTURE
**WEEK 1 · GRAPHITE + THE MAGIC OF LIGHT AND DARK**
Create a striking graphite portrait using simple transfer, shading, blending and highlights.
**WEEK 2 · DRAWING WHAT YOU SEE**
Use coloured pencil to draw while exploring observation, gesture, colour, reflections and negative space.
**WEEK 3 · PEN, PATTERN + SCRIBBLE**
Turn scribbles, dots, hatching and expressive marks into a fabulous drawing on a printed background.
**WEEK 4 · GRIDS + GLOWING COLOUR**
Learn an easy grid method and create a colourful artwork using watercolour pencil, layering, burnishing and shine.
**WEEK 5 · INK + WATERCOLOUR MIXED MEDIA**
Bring everything together in a loose, expressive artwork using watercolour washes, accidental marks, ink, graphite and coloured pencil.

Perfect for absolute beginners, rusty creatives and anyone who has ever said, “I can’t draw.”
We’ll use beautiful artist-quality materials, try several drawing methods and make five completely different artworks in a supportive, no-pressure studio environment.
After class, you’re welcome to stay for an optional hour of relaxed Friday-evening sketching. Bring a drink or snack and keep creating at your own pace.
No perfection required. Scaredy cats encouraged.
