Discover the joy of Spanish food and hospitality in this hands-on market-to-table experience.

Join us on Sunday 16 August from 10am–3pm for a relaxed day of shopping, cooking and sharing a delicious Spanish lunch. Come on your own, bring family or gather a group of friends—you'll be warmly welcomed around the table. Designed for adults and suitable for ages 15+.

What you'll do

We'll begin with a guided visit to Prahran Market, choosing fresh seasonal produce and discovering the ingredients at the heart of Spanish cooking. Next, we'll head to Correa Kitchen, where María will guide us in preparing classic Spanish dishes including pintxos, tortilla and paella. Then it's time for ¡A la Mesa! We'll gather around the table to enjoy the dishes we've created together, with house-made non-alcoholic sangria and plenty of conversation.

Price

$145 per person, including the guided market visit, hands-on cooking class and shared lunch.

• No special skills required—from chopping to stirring, there's a role for everyone.
• All dishes are gluten-free. This experience is not suitable for pescatarians, vegans, or vegetarians.
• Wheelchair accessible, with an easy 10-minute, flat walk between Prahran Market and Correa Kitchen.
• Authentic Spanish ingredients and gourmet products available to purchase after the experience.

This experience brings together María's authentic Spanish cooking and Nic's passion for creating memorable experiences.

María grew up in Northern Spain and is passionate about sharing its rich food culture, authentic recipes and warm hospitality with every guest. Nic is an experience designer, tour host and storyteller who loves creating memorable experiences that bring people together.
