About
'35MM: A Musical Exhibition'
Music and Lyrics by Ryan Scott Oliver
Based on photographs by Matthew Murphy
Halloween Weekend (31 Oct - 1 Nov) 2026
Tom Mann Theatre, Surry Hills
Inspired by the photographs of Matthew Murphy, '35MM' is a contemporary song cycle celebrated for its unique blend of music, photography and storytelling. Each image becomes the starting point for a completely different story, taking audiences from the wildly absurd to the deeply heartfelt through a score that blends musical theatre, rock and folk styles.
Performed by an ensemble of five, '35MM' is a visually driven concert experience that celebrates the stories held within an image, asking what can happen when a single photograph is given a voice.
'35MM: A Musical Exhibition' is presented by arrangement with
ORIGIN Theatrical
on behalf of Concord Theatricals
