Arrive 9.30 am for a 10.00 am Start. Finish time 1.00 pm.
We will be infilling and continuation of previous revegetated areas and along creek lines with 1800+ plants.
Afterwards, stay on and enjoy a warm lunch of vegetarian soup, meat balls, sausages and salad. Home grown beef!
Some background: Jinyang and Sean moved to this 20-acre property in 2020 (from Melbourne). They have since planted around 1000 plants on their own and 10,000 from a grant. Their goal is to vegetate around 10 acres.
They are going to experiment this winter with mudball direct seeding. And a future project: turning 3 dams into vibrant natural habitats.
What to bring / wear
• sturdy boots and gloves
• layered clothing and wet weather gear if rain is forecast
• drink bottle and a snack
Access to the planting area
Short walk to the planting sites ~ 100 metres.
Sloping site with some steep sections.
