2026 ACT Junior Rapid Chess Championship

Date: Sunday, 9th August 2026 (Registration at 12:45, Prize giving at 16:45)Venue: Corroboree Park Hall (47 Patterson St, Ainslie)
Eligibility: Children born on or after 1 January 2006 (U18)
Cost: $35 per child ($30 for a ACTJCL member)
Format: 7-round Swiss tournament (All players compete 7 rounds except when pairing byes occur.)
Time control: 15 minutes
Awards:
Trophies for the ACT Open and Girls' Champions for the Under 8, 10, 12, 14, and 18 age groups. Participants can only receive one trophy. Every player receives a ribbon.

Please note that the location is Corroboree Park Hall in Ainslie (NOT Campbell High School).
