Connecting the Journey: Growing Strong Kids Engagement Forum
About
Join Metro North Health and Children’s Health Queensland for the Connecting the Journey: Growing Strong Kids - Health Equity Engagement Forum. This engagement forum is focused on gaining feedback and insight from families and key stakeholders on improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families through collaboration, shared learning, and community voice.
We aim to come together to move from what we've heard to practical solutions and actions that improve health equity and wellbeing for children and families, across:
- Children's Mental Health
- Child Development
- Child Safety
Through presentations, discussions, and yarning circles, participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, identify local priorities, and contribute to conversations that support children to grow, develop and thrive.
Who should attend?
- Parents, carers and families
- Community members
- Healthcare professionals
- Early childhood and education professionals
- Child safety and family support workers
- Community organisations and service providers
- Anyone passionate about improving the wellbeing of children and young people
We welcome diverse perspectives and encourage all participants to contribute to building a healthier, safer and more connected future for our children.
