Imbolc- Wheel of the Year Ceremony
About
Join us as we celebrate the first stirrings of Spring through honouring the traditions of our ancestors and the turning of the Wheel of the Year.About the Event:
Bone Mother Temple welcomes you to a beautiful day where we will immerse ourselves in the energies of Imbolc, honouring the return of the light and the re-awakening of the Earth after Winter. Imbolc, celebrated in the modern Pagan Wheel of the Year, marks the halfway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, and is a day held in honour of the Celtic Goddess Brigid.
This is a community event open to all who are seeking to explore the realms of spiritual practice, deepen their knowledge, or connect with other like-minded folk in a nurturing community circle. This ceremony is welcome to all genders, and to those aged 16 and above.
*Please note anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. *
We have curated this Imbolc Wheel of the Year Ceremony with seasonal rituals and activities that honour the traditional roots of this sacred time while also paying respect to the beautiful lands where we gather and reside. Come join us as we celebrate the returning light and welcome the first whispers of Spring together, warmed by the sacred flame of the Great Goddess Brigid.
What to Expect:
~ Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a Ritual Smoke Cleansing, Rattle & Drum Sound Clearing & Ritual Oil Anointing and welcome you into Temple Space.
~ We will then take our place in the circle and set the energy with a Grounding Meditation.
~ After we are settled, we will introduce ourselves, communicate the agreements of the space, and then move into our seasonal ritual activities.
~ Ritual Activities include Seasonal Crafting & journeying in honour of Imbolc and the Great Goddess Brigid
~ Upon completing the ritual activities, we shall hold an Imbolc Lunch, before we journey to meet the Goddess Brigid, and hold a final Sharing Circle
*All Sharing is Confidential and does not leave the Temple.*
~ We then close the energy of the circle and Temple
