ACT Now 2026
ACT Now is a 1-day interactive course for all Nurses and Midwives to develop skills in early recognition and response to acute deterioration in patients. Included are Face to Face Workshop style presentations and interactive Simulated activities, based on real patient clinical scenarios.
This course is specifically designed to facilitate early recognition of acute clinical deterioration, to respond appropriately and to escalate care.
Objectives of the day
• Enhance the Use of Clinical ASSESSMENT Skills
• Enhance CRITICAL THINKING
• Increase Awareness of Strategies that Assist in the Escalation of Care
• Develop a Culture of Teamwork
