Digital Stories in Residential Aged Care
About
About the WebinarProviding person-centred care is challenging when staff don't truly know the person living with dementia — contributing to depression and reduced quality of life. The Know Me intervention addresses this by training healthcare students and interns as volunteers in reminiscence therapy, partnering them with residents to co-create a 4-minute digital life story. These stories rapidly build staff knowledge of the whole person, fostering holistic, person-centred care and meaningfully improving quality of life for residents, volunteers and staff alike.
