After sneaking back into the school library after hours, six students discover that the books on the shelves are far more magical than they imagined. As the pages begin to glow, they are swept into extraordinary worlds filled with talking vegetables, mysterious forest creatures, chaotic rubbish monsters, rolling ocean tides, and stars that shine across the night sky.Through each unforgettable adventure, the students learn lessons about confidence, courage, responsibility, patience, and belonging, discovering that stories don’t just change worlds… they change people too.
Filled with music, laughter, heart, and imagination, When Stories Come to Life, is a vibrant primary school musical. Celebrating the inspired magic within books celebrated in recent years of the CBCA children’s book week selection’s. With a few radio hits amongst the mix, this musical is going to leave long lasting lessons and memories.
