1/08 Kinglake Winter Mushroom Walk (SOLD OUT)
About
Come for a walk with Jeremy Hegge to see fascinating fungi, learn about their ecology and just how little we know about the incredible fungal diversity of Australia! The mushrooms that occur in late Winter are often smaller and harder to spot but many are unique to this time of year. We do not usually see edible species on these walks and they will have little appeal to those only interested in foraging.Tours last for approximately 2 hours.
13 people max per tour.
Walks are for 15 years and older (under 18's must have a guardian).
Pets cannot attend walks.
You will be notified via email of the exact location 24 hours beforehand. This location will be within 30 minutes drive of Kinglake and will not be accessible by public transport.

The 50% discount for returnees does not apply for Winter Mushroom Walks. The Partial Veil Fungi Zine is also not included in these walks.
