Silk veils are a beautiful flow art form that is easy to learn, gentle on hands and wrists, and affordable. Classes are small so our instructor can spend more time with you to refine your skill.
Also you will have the opportunity to perform the routine at our end of year show!
Mermaid Burlesque Academy is the newest burlesque school in Tasmania. Started by Pina Ocean, a burlesque artist with over a decade of experience in the art form. Pina is originally from WA where the burlesque community has produced many national and international award winners. Pina is a plus sized, 40 plus performer who loves costuming, the history of burlesque and will always good music for you to dance to.
