About
Steven Burgess is a leading international contributor to the planning, design and development of liveable towns and cities. He is an international keynote speaker throughout Australia, New Zealand, North America, South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and is also a TEDx presenter.With more than 30 years' experience as an engineer and urban strategist, Steven has developed an extensive understanding of the relationship between urban form, mobility and economic vitality. He has worked on village, town and city transformation projects around the world, encouraging communities to take more risks and create better places.
Steven is the author of Complete Streets – Guidelines to Urban Street Design and contributed to the NACTO Global Street Design Guide and the Auckland Street Design Guide.
