The Ballarat Fly Fishers Club is running a “Learn To Fly Fish” workshop on Saturday the 12th of September 2026, at what is arguably the best fly fishing classroom in Australia! This workshop is aimed at those who have just started or want to start their fly fishing journey.
Imagine learning to fly fish while overlooking one of the best freshwater fisheries in Australia and then using your newly acquired skills during a mentored fly fishing session on Lake Wendouree!
Workshop information:
* Focusses on the basics of fly fishing
* Open to anyone over 16 years of age
* Registration at 10:00 am for a 10:30 am start, and a 4:00 pm finish
* All gear supplied, or BYO if you have it
* Lunch supplied
* $10 Admission (deductible from membership nomination if you join the club)
