Presented by Sozu in collaboration with Melbourne Art Space, Tea Re:frame is a curated tea gathering that brings together exceptional Chinese tea, handcrafted teaware and contemporary art in one thoughtfully designed setting.
Here, tea is more than something to drink.
Every tea table is thoughtfully composed. Colour, balance and space are considered as carefully as the tea itself. Teaware is chosen with the same attention given to works on display. Each infusion unfolds slowly, inviting you to notice changing aromas, textures and flavours.
At the heart of the gathering is Gongfu tea—the traditional Chinese art of preparing and serving tea. Through guided tasting and conversation, you'll discover how tea, teaware and aesthetics come together in an experience deeply rooted in tradition, yet presented through the lens of contemporary art.

About Sozu
Sozu is a Melbourne-based Chinese tea studio specialising in Chinese tea, Gongfu tea, teaware and tea aesthetics.
We create Chinese tea experiences through workshops, tea gatherings, gallery collaborations and bespoke cultural events. Alongside our public programmes, we also offer private experiences, educational courses, and a carefully selected collection of Chinese teas and teaware.
