The Jazz Kittens' debut album features original works that unite jazz with Indian classical and folk music. The catchy tunes, ballads and energetic numbers speak on issues such as racism and discrimination, and tell unforgettable stories that will leave you in awe.
The 30-piece orchestra features Melbourne's finest young talent and transcends the realm of music, incorporating dance and poetry - a performance unlike any other large ensemble gig you have seen before!
We are joined by the incredible vocalist Rhea John - frequent performer at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival - who will be opening the night of music with her wonderful original compositions!
