This isn’t about winning or being 'the best'. It's an opportunity to proudly share creativity and efforts, to share ideas and be inspired by friends!
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to vote by purchasing a $2 voting pack, even if you chose not to enter.

Everyone is encouraged to vote!
Voting is not about personal favourites, it's for the qualities of :
• Aesthetics or ‘wow’ factor
• Narrative or how well it tells a story
• Technical Ability or complexity of techniques used in the build

Voting therefore encourages observation, contemplation & acknowledgement of skills & effort.

There are 4 age groups, each with a variation on this year’s theme,

‘CONSTRUCTION’.

5 & under......I can construct with Lego
6-8 yo............My construction is creative
9-11 yo..........My Dream House
12+................Evolution of Construction

Builds are made at home and set up anonymously on the day.
All builds must be original, not from a set.
No iconic architectural builds.

Prizes
Encourage enthusiasm, motivation, completion and working to a time frame.
Every entrant receives a certificate.
3 LEGO prizes in each age group based on sum of the 3 qualities listed above.
A prize for the Best Dressed to complement their build.
A prize for the overall favourite build.

Voting
All entrants receive a ‘voting pack’.
Non entrants are encouraged to vote by purchasing a voting pack.
Voting packs are colour coded to match the age groups.

The event runs to a strict time schedule & during the 30min while votes are being collated you can openly discuss builds or explore Macclesfield which has a great park within walking distance.
