YOU’RE INVITED!Come along to our movie night to watch ‘We Are Not Powerless’, an inspiring true story featuring one of Adelaide High School’s own.
To begin, food from Ninis Indonesian Food truck will be present so you can buy your meal and support the cause.
Funds raised from this event will go to Cisarua Learning, an ACNC registered institution that supports education for refugees.
After the movie, stick around to meet and ask questions to the stars of the incredible and eye-opening film.
We Are Not Powerless:
From escaping Afghanistan in 2012 to founding a life-changing school for refugees in Indonesia, the story of Muzafar Ali, Nagina, and their community is one of courage, hope and resilience. Today, over 1,300 students and 130 refugee teachers are building new futures—many obtaining university degrees and returning as professionals to support others.
