Baroque on the Hill — An Evening of Johann Sebastian Bach is presented and produced by SuonaVoce™ Australia in association with Brisbane German Week and Bach Akademie Australia.Set in the striking surroundings of St Brigid’s Church, Red Hill, this evening concert brings together two distinguished artists for a focused programme dedicated to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
Featuring Madeleine Easton on baroque violin and Peter Roennfeldt on harpsichord, the concert offers an intimate encounter with Bach’s instrumental music, performed with clarity, refinement and historical awareness.
The concert forms the evening programme of German Music Day within Brisbane German Week 2026, celebrating the continuing cultural connection between German musical heritage and Brisbane’s artistic community.
