Timings
The Tournament's official start time will be 9:00am. All competitors should be prepared to arrive at the venue by 8:30am for check-in. However, so that we can reduce 'downtime' the tournament start-time will be specifically designated for each competitor group, and generally competitors will expect to be at the venue for around one hour. Competitors will receive an email no later than Friday 13 November 4:00pm with their specific event start time and finish time (we are doing this to minimise the amount of time you have to wait for your event). The day should conclude no later than 2:00pm, depending on competitor numbers.
Rules
Summary: The tournament will be held in a double-elimination format, meaning all students will get to perform twice throughout their round/category. The tournament will be held using the flag-based scoring system, and will endeavour to be informal and relaxed in nature, taking into account that competitors will be from different styles and dojo. 1st to 3rd Place will be awarded in each category and competitors will receive a certificate.
