About

Before the invite, one important question remains unanswered: is Bill actually turning 60, or is this simply the 21st anniversary of his 39th birthday?

Bill’s 60th Birthday House Concert - January 9th 2027 @ 31 Consul Road Brookvale

Apparently turning 60 is a pretty good excuse for a party, so Bill has decided to celebrate the occasion the best way possible — with great mates, plenty of food and drinks, and a cracking night of live music.

Providing the soundtrack for the evening will be The Album Show “Trio”

Led by Sydney producer and musician extraordinaire Michael Carpenter, The Album Show celebrates the songs and artists that have filled our record and CD collections, car stereos and pub jukeboxes for decades.

Expect to hear classics from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Stevie Nicks, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sheryl Crow, John Mellencamp, Tom Petty, Bob Seger, The Traveling Wilburys and Bob Dylan, plus a few surprises and singalongs thrown in for good measure.

Joining Michael on the night will be Sophie Jones and Casey Atkins, bringing together an evening of great songs, great harmonies and probably a few moments where everyone suddenly remembers all the words to songs they haven’t heard in over 20 years.

Doors open at 6:00pm and the music kicks off at 7:30pm.

The plan is for two sets, but if the crowd’s in good voice and the neighbours are feeling generous, there may well be a few extras.

And one important thing:

No presents. Seriously. Your ticket to the party is your gift, and all proceeds will go directly to supporting the musicians. (Ticket Link Below)

We’ll have the food and drinks sorted, so just bring yourself and your best singing voice. If you’ve got special dietary requirements or a particular drink you can’t live without, feel free to bring it along.

So dust off your favourite Springsteen, Beatles, CCR or Stevie lyrics, warm up the vocal cords and come help celebrate Bill’s milestone birthday the proper way:

Good mates. Good tunes. A few cold drinks. What could possibly go wrong?

* “Celebrating 60 years of questionable decisions and excellent taste in music.

* “Proof that the classics only get better with age — the music and Bill included.”

See you there !

Tickets $40pp +BF.

Theme - Loud Shirt or Black Concert Tee
