Dawn Penney is the Chief Executive Officer of Korus Connect, a role she has held since 2015, bringing arare mix of legal, human resources and corporate governance expertise to her leadership. Under Dawn's
guidance, Korus Connects chaplains now serve communities right across our state, in roles as varied as
the students and schools they support — and Dawn has spent over a decade championing that growth,
navigating everything from politics to church to community along the way.
A trusted voice sought out by other leaders across governance, culture and community, Dawn also
serves as Minister for Seniors; Pastoral Care at One Church, and is a proud grandmother to Ava (8) and
Louie (6). Dawn will share what she's seen firsthand from the front line of chaplaincy — the impact,
the challenges, and why seeing every student supported and thriving is a vision worth investing in.
