PRIMAVERA (M) Italy 110 min

Cecilia, a talented violinist confined in an orphanage, gets a chance to live the life she has dreamed of when she meets Antonio Vivaldi.

Under his mentorship and through his music, she gains courage to break free from her pre-ordained destiny and pursue her passion.

'This marvellous, delicate, painterly period piece is deftly directed by Damiano Michieletto, whose reputation as a renown opera director one could probably have deduced from the film’s lyrical blending of images and music....Stupendo.'
