About
Learn how to make your own, unique, felt hat using wet felting techniques.Belle, your tutor, will guide you through the process, step by step. You will learn how to layout the wool fibres on a resist template. Then how to turn these fibres into felt. And finally shaping it into a 3D hat of your own.
Beginners are welcome as well as those with wet felting experience.
We use beautiful hand dyed wool so all kinds of colours are available. Belle has a couple of styles for you to choose from. The standard hat in the picture or a more sculptural folded hat. Everyone makes their own individual hat using a “no hat block” method.
The exchange: All materials, tuition and use of tools are provided for $85.00
This is an in-person workshop for adults only. Bookings essential.
Grab a friend or come on your own. Meet other creative people. We always have fun with lots of laughter at these workshops.
