About
As communities look to a new Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults journey, clergy, RCIA coordinators, team members and all interested are invited to an online evening of practical formation and conversation designed for the beginning of the RCIA journey.
Together, we will explore how to welcome enquirers including:
• Conducting a meaningful first conversation that is pastorally welcoming.
• Fr John Salvano, Judicial Vicar of the Tribunal of the Catholic Church of Victoria and Tasmania, will explore ways to respond when canonical questions arise and where to
seek support.
• Recognising where a person may be on their journey of faith, drawing on Sherry Weddell's Thresholds of Faith.
We encourage whole RCIA teams to attend together, so your community is better equipped to accompany those taking their first steps towards Christ.
