2026 Castlemaine Battle of The Bands

Mount Alexander Amplify Committee is excited to announce the 2026 Battle of The Bands!This event takes place on Friday 28th of August at the Theatre Royal, Castlemaine from 5.45pm-9.45pm.
Battle of the Bands is an annual youth music competition run by the local Amplify Committee, Eight Metre Speaker.
This year's event will see an amazing line-up of acts from across the Shire show off their musical skills and battle it out for the chance to win $500!
Headlining this year's event are crowd pleasers and last year's winners, Electric Heads!
Event information / entry guidelines:
. All ages event (ages 12 years & under are required to be supervised by a parent/guardian)
. Fully supervised
. This event is strictly smoke/ vape, alcohol and drug free
. Strictly no pass outs (you aren't able to leave the event and return)
. Songs may contain mild coarse language (please discuss this with your parent / carer / child prior to attending this event)
Doors open 5.45pm
Amplify is a Victorian Government Initiative, supported by the Mount Alexander Shire Council
