Weekly Mindful Movement Practice at Picton Psychology
About
The Mindful Movement Practice Program is designed for people experiencing stress, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed who are looking for practical, sustainable ways to calm their nervous system.Over four weekly 1-hour sessions, you'll learn simple, evidence-informed practices that support greater calm, resilience, and self-awareness.
Stress and anxiety don't develop overnight, and lasting change takes time. By establishing a personalised toolkit of mindful movement, breathing, and self-regulation practices - and using them consistently - you can gradually rewire your nervous system and create positive, lasting change.
With a compassionate, gentle approach and a "know pain, no pain" philosophy, you'll be guided to become more aware of your body's signals rather than pushing through discomfort. This mindful awareness helps create new neural pathways that support greater ease, emotional balance, and resilience.
As your nervous system becomes more regulated, you'll experience a deeper connection with yourself and those around you, empowering you to navigate life's challenges with greater calm, confidence, and presence.
