CVAA 2026 Annual Conference, AGM & Beekeeper Workshops
About
The 61st Annual Conference of the Central Victorian Apiarists Association to be held at the Maryborough Highland Society on Thursday 20 August - Friday 21st August 2026.This will be a two day event with beekeepers workshops on Thursday 20 August 2026 and conference & AGM on Friday 21 August 2026.
The workshops will offer an interactive day for commercial beekeepers to talk about what varroa treatments are working for them, hear what other beekeepers in the thick of things in NSW are doing, as well as beekeepers just getting hit with mites closer to home. The day will wrap up with a Panel including Min Fuller from Northern NSW, Andrew McCallum from the North-East, and David Briggs.
At Conference we will hear a Resources update, as well as other various industry and research updates including Wheen Bee and learning more about the potential of spider venom. Min Fuller is presenting about her organisation's experience with resistant varroa mites and associated challenges running an organic and pollination operation in the current circumstances.
We are looking to forward to seeing everyone and having a good chat and a cup of tea.
