About
Mental health awareness is crucial in breaking down barriers, reducing stigma, promoting early intervention, and fostering a supportive environment for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. It plays a pivotal role in creating a society that values and prioritises mental wellbeing.Mental Health Awareness Sessions are an introduction to Mental Health First Aid Training. We will provide an overview of mental health and the skills to assist and identify the early warning signs of a mental health problem.
The approach is vitally important to be able to:
Use appropriate language
Use open and closed questions
Support someone who may be experiencing a mental health problem
Who is it for?
Mental Health Awareness Sessions are designed for adults helping and supporting other adults. Mental Health Awareness Sessions are for group bookings only.

All sessions run up to 90 minutes.

Unlimited – Sessions can be held with as little or as many people as you need.
What you will learn?
Participants will be educated on the common mental health problems, the signs and symptoms, how to check in on someone that may be having a mental health challenge and how to look after your wellbeing.

What is Mental Health and Mental Illness?
Understanding of Depression
Understanding of Anxiety
Know the five signs of mental health distress
The Mental Health Conversation
Managing our own wellbeing
Following the session we will have a free lunch.
