MBNA is excited to announce that while our courts undergo a major redevelopment—including the installation of a roof for year-round netball , our Friday Night Summer Competition will be played at Aberfeldie Primary School.
* NEW TEMPORARY VENUE: Aberfeldie Primary School, Doone Street, Aberfeldie
* Season: 9 October 2026 – 19 March 2027 (breaks for public holiday weekends and summer holidays)
- 12 rounds + finals
- Games from 6.45pm each Friday night
Competitions available for:
- Mixed 11 & Under
- Mixed 13/15 & Under (Divisions 1&2)
- Female 13/15 & Under (Division 3)
- Mixed 17 & Under / Opens
Merri-bek is in the JIKA region so players also have the opportunity to trial for the JIKA State Titles teams.
All VU Vultures teams will have 12 players - a roster will apply when required.
This year VU will be supplying a coach for each team.
There will be no additional training requirements.
Acceptance of a VU offer is a commitment to play a MINIMUM of 8 games plus finals. Players in pathway programs/state titles teams that train on Friday evening will be required to play 6 games. If you do not meet the minimum game requirements this will be taken into consideration in all VU selections for 2027.
Fees are payable upfront and in-full. No refunds will be available. $200 for the season
Those who do not register WILL NOT be considered for teams.
