Hungry for peace - Breaking the bread (SOLD OUT)
About
Peace Kitchen: Come Hungry. Leave Connected.Join us for a special evening of shared food and guided dialogue at The Couch.
In partnership with Peace Kitchen, this experiential event brings together people who may not usually cross paths—including students, professionals, community organisations and community members from across Melbourne—to explore how food can help us build connection across difference.
Over a shared meal, guests will take part in a thoughtfully designed dialogue experience inspired by the themes of Hungry for Peace, Dr Elaine Pratley's new book. Through food, storytelling and conversation, we'll explore belonging, identity and the ways meaningful dialogue can foster greater understanding, trust and connection.
Our hope is simple: that everyone leaves having met someone they might not otherwise have encountered, with a broader perspective and fresh insights they can carry into their own communities, organisations and everyday lives.
