10am WORKSHOP - Nature Makes the Music
Head of Composition at ECU WAAPA Dr Lindsay Vickery leads this workshop in which participants will make their own field recordings of sounds in nature and learn how to create their own graphic score utilising cutting edge software. This may present itself in many ways, graphic, visual art, sculpture or a hybrid mix! Learn how to create music from your nature sounds, and have them interpreted and performed by a professional ensemble at the end of the workshop. This workshop is strictly EOI only, with room for only 20 participants. Details including EOI TBA.
