Growing and learning in the family –connecting with your child through playRecommended for parents/caregivers of children aged 2-8 years.
Unfortunately there is no creche available for this workshop. Parents are welcome to bring non-mobile babies to the workshop, we just ask you to step out of the room to settle your little ones if needed.
This is a two-part workshop designed to help families gain an understanding of how children learn, acknowledging their child’s strengths, understand the stages of play and developmental milestones as well as forming meaningful connections through play.
Topics covered include:
•How children learn
•Meaningful connection through play
•Stages of play
•Developmental milestones – understanding realistic expectations of children
