Over two evenings this hands-on, two-part workshop, participants will learn the ancient process of lost wax casting using wax and recycled aluminium. Ideal for artists, creatives, and curious beginners, this low-tech method is accessible, sustainable, and deeply satisfying.
Over two evenings, you’ll:
✨ Design and sculpt a form in wax
Optional: Create a mould using the investment casting process
🔧 Learn basic finishing techniques and take home your unique relic-like sculpture

IΩANNA is an award-winning sculptor and educator whose workshops have reached audiences locally and worldwide. Known for transforming recycled aluminium into striking natural-mechanical forms, she brings creative insight and hands-on skill to help participants experience the magic of casting wax into metal.
