Beats at the BarracksOnce again, Victoria Barracks Sydney is opening its gates to the community.
Join us for Beats at the Barracks, proudly hosted by the serving members of Victoria Barracks Sydney on Oxford Street, Paddington.
Established in 1841, Victoria Barracks provides a spectacular historic setting for an unforgettable evening of live music, entertainment and community on Saturday, 12 September.
The evening will feature the Australian Army Band Sydney, which proudly traces its musical lineage to the New South Wales Regular Artillery Band, the first Australian military band raised at Victoria Barracks in 1874.
The night will also include:
• Ambient lighting throughout the historic event precinct
• A fantastic selection of local food and beverage vendors
• A relaxed, family friendly atmosphere on the Parade Ground
Bring your picnic rug and camp chairs, settle in with family and friends, and enjoy a memorable evening under the Sydney night sky.
All proceeds from the event will proudly support Soldier On, helping current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families.

For the safety of our guests and the protection of this historic site, dogs are not permitted within Victoria Barracks. Accredited assistance and service dogs are welcome.
Public parking is not available within Victoria Barracks. Guests are encouraged to use public transport when attending the event.
Due to licensing requirements, this is not a BYO event. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
All patrons require a valid ticket for entry. Adults may be asked to present photo identification.
