Good health starts with feeling seen, heard, and respected.
Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking conversation exploring the barriers that LGBTIQA+ communities and other marginalised people can face when accessing welcoming, safe, effective, and inclusive healthcare.
Bringing together lived experience and professional expertise, the forum will explore practical ways to improve health outcomes and inspire meaningful change.
Whether you work in healthcare, advocate for equity, or simply want to learn more, everyone is welcome to be part of this important conversation.
Featured speakers include Miss Alex Reimers (Disability Advocate), Dr Rob Blum (Director of Cancer Services, Bendigo Health), Damien Stevens-Todd (Program Manager, Thorne Harbour Health), and Nik Knighton (Occupational Therapist, The Rainbow Hub).
The Health & Wellbeing Forum is FREE and open to all ages.
Following the panel discussion, stay and connect with fellow attendees over complimentary nibbles and refreshments.

BENDIGO QUEER FILM FESTIVAL: FILM SCREENING 2026 (3:30pm - 7:45pm)
Continuing directly after the Health and wellbeing forum, we’re excited to present the 2026 Bendigo Queer Film Festival (18+), showcasing 20 outstanding short films from 3:30pm to 7:45pm, also at the Latrobe Arts Institute.
From laugh-out-loud comedies and inspiring documentaries to heartfelt dramas and thought-provoking stories, this carefully curated program celebrates the many experiences, identities, and voices of the LGBTIQA+ community.
Take a break between film screening sessions to mingle with fellow cinema lovers at our festival soirée, featuring complimentary nibbles alongside a selection of local wines and craft beers.
Tickets for the film screening are just $15, making this an unforgettable afternoon of cinema, conversation, and community.
