We have singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bill Jacobi bringing his one-man band show out of the pub and into the lounge room for an intimate evening of song and story. Accompanying himself on lap slide, open tuned guitar, banjo and foot percussion, Bill’s songs are an eclectic amalgamation of folk/roots and alt county/swamp, with some lashings of hillbilly funk thrown in on the side.Over the years Bill has toured and recorded with a long list of groundbreaking Australian artists including Goanna, Shane Howard, Neil Murray, The Warumpi Band and The Stiff Gins. More recently Bill has settled into the lifestyle of North Coast NSW, embracing the regions tolerance for singer songwriters, solo performers and one-man bands.
After a long collaboration with drummer and songwriter Frank Corby as Method, producing 4 albums along the way, Bill has released a collection of tracks under his own name and can still be seen playing bass with Floyd Vincent and the Temple Dogs or fronting his own 3-piece band Rogue Elements.
7pm for 7.30pm start. BYOG. We provide nibbles and glasses.
