How much we see through a telescope depends on the Moon phase. During brighter moon phases, some stars and deep sky objects become less visible, but the Moon is great to view.
How much we see also depends on the amount of cloud cover.
Overcast and rainy nights: You will be given 3 options at start time if we deem it overcast and is unlikely to clear
A) a credit for a future session in the next 3 years.
B) stay for the extended astronomy presentation. If you don't see anything through the telescope, we issue you a 50% refund excluding the booking fee.
C) You can cancel, a refund is issued back to the card you used excluding the booking fee.
You must attend to qualify for a refund unless previously arranged.
We recommend you book on the day when weather forecasts are more reliable.
