Celebrate the return of Adelaide German Week with a special Pre-Launch Black Tie Gala at Her Majesty’s Theatre, combining an exclusive reception with State Opera South Australia’s spectacular production of Hänsel und Gretel, performed in German with English subtitles.

Hosted by Matthew P. Williams, Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany, and presented by Adelaide German Week Inc. in collaboration with the German Business Chamber of South Australia and State Opera South Australia, the Gala celebrates German language, culture and music in one of Adelaide’s most beautiful theatres while strengthening the enduring connections between Germany and South Australia.

• One B Reserve ticket to the performance of Hänsel und Gretel
• Admission to the exclusive AGW Pre-Launch Gala reception

PRE-SHOW GALA RECEPTION | 6.00 PM – 7.00 PM

Begin the evening with an exclusive reception in the Grand Circle Bar on Level 2 of Her Majesty’s Theatre.

Your Gala experience includes:

• Canapés and one welcome drink, with a choice of sparkling, red or white wine, beer or soft drink
• A special pre-show talk with members of the cast and creative team
• Exclusive use of the Grand Circle Bar for Gala guests

Additional drinks will be available for purchase.

The Gala reception is limited to 60 guests.

To maintain the formal character of the evening, guests are kindly requested not to wear casual or smart-casual attire, including jeans or workwear.
