This performance of the Te Deum Cantata composed by the accomplished Paris Music Director Marc Antoine Charpentier in 1692, and rediscovered in 1953 by a French Musicologist, will be presented by Denmark’s Te Deum Choir and Sarabande Early Music Ensemble.
This celebratory work consists of 11 parts embracing beautiful introspective solos, and full choir.
The text praises God the Father, Christ, his son, and the Trinity.
