About
The Biology, Earth and Environmental Sciences Day (BEES Day) is an annual event that showcases some of the exciting career choices and opportunities in science. It is designed to increase students’ awareness about real science jobs and encourage them to consider science pathways when selecting subjects at high school.Presenters from a wide range of industries will share experiences from their work and engage students in hands-on activities. For our 2026 event we are pleased to offer activities and presentations from Department of Fisheries, Earth Sciences, Teachers for Climate, The Wetlands Centre Cockburn, Curtin School of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Murdoch University Sustainability, School of the Biological Sciences UWA, Healing Country Curtin University, University of Notre Dame, Curtin Hive Project.
Representatives from various Perth Universities will be available during the lunch break to answer questions and provide materials about opportunities to study science at a tertiary level.
