2027 Accelerate Audition Day
About
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for all of our talented dancers and vocalists at Geelong Dance Movement!The Accelerate Program is designed to identify and nurture exceptional talent within our dance community. This audition day will provide students the chance to showcase their skills and potentially join an elite group of performers who will receive specialized training, competition and performance opportunities.
What to Expect:
Warm-up and technique sessions
Choreography workshops
Feedback from our panel of experienced and guest instructors
A response within 7 days of audition day
How to Prepare:
Arrive in appropriate dance attire which includes jazz and or ballet shoes.
Hair neatly slicked back into either a low ballet bun or a low ponytail.
Bring a drink bottle.
Vocalists - please wear your favourite outfit and come prepared with a song of your choice to sing.
Come with a positive attitude and be ready to give your best performance!
We encourage all students aged 5+, regardless of experience level, to participate in this audition. It's a fantastic chance to challenge yourself, learn new skills and be part of an inspiring and supportive dance community.
Please note any current Accelerate students will also need to attend this audition day to secure a place in the 2027 Accelerate program.
