2026 BPW Adelaide Equal Pay Day
About
Equal pay is about more than salaries. It's about the systems, supports and opportunities that enable people to participate fully in work, leadership and community life.Join BPW Adelaide for our annual Equal Pay Day Dinner as we explore the important role that early childhood education and care plays in supporting workforce participation, career progression and gender equality.
Our guest speakers, Kate Mount and Ali Blake from Reggio Emilia Australia, will share insights from a philosophy built on participation, community and the belief that strong support systems benefit children, families and society as a whole.
Together we'll discuss questions that affect all of us:
- What enables people to participate fully in work and public life?
- How do we create communities that support equality?
- What role do care, education and leadership play in closing gender gaps?
- Why is equal pay a community issue, not just a women's issue?
