Do you want to play harmonica? Phil Coyne will be joining Aaron Gillett and Matthew Whalebone White to unlock the hidden techniques of the old tin sandwich.Announcing the next Melbourne harmonica workshop mid-October at LVK music. Building from the success of the last two event we are expanding to bring you even more knowledge about wonderful, and ever portable, harmonica. Phil Coyne is one of Melbourne’s best amplified harmonica players. As frontman of ‘Phil Coyne and the Wayward Aces’, he will bring knowledge and expertise to help attendees gain more control over their amplified playing. Aaron Gillette of Blind Owl Harmonica will also be returning to discuss further ways to maintain your instruments and get the most out of your playing.
Matthew ‘Whalebone’ White will show you how players Sonny Terry, DeFord Bailey and Sonny Boy Williamson I and II used rhythms as a bases for their songs instantly expanding your musicianship, understanding and control over your harmonica.
And Lazy Lancester will be bringing down his own Australian made harmonica microphones and amplifiers if your looking for a way to get that honking tone!
