About
ADHD Done Differently – Level 2: Executive FunctioningPractical, neurodiversity-affirming strategies that you can use immediately in your supports.
You've learnt the foundations—now it's time to dive deeper.
ADHD Done Differently – Level 2 is an advanced, full-day online workshop designed for speech pathologists who want to confidently support the executive functioning challenges that can underpin so many of the children they work with.
Executive functioning difficulties don't just affect organisation - they influence communication, emotional regulation, learning, social participation, independence and everyday success. This workshop explores how to recognise these challenges and adapt your supports so you're working with the ADHD brain, not against it.
This isn't another course full of generic tips.
Instead, you'll gain practical, evidence-informed frameworks and therapy strategies that can be implemented immediately in your clinical practice.
During this workshop, you'll learn how to:
- Understand executive functioning from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective.
- Identify how executive functioning impacts communication, action and participation.
- Support working memory, planning, organisation, task initiation, and activation to task.
- Reduce cognitive load through environmental and therapy modifications.
- Integrate executive functioning supports into speech pathology supports.
- Scaffold skills without creating dependence.
- Adapt therapy to improve engagement, motivation and functional outcomes.
Throughout the day you'll work through real clinical examples, practical strategies and therapy ideas that translate directly into everyday practice.
