The Bayside Peninsula Area Early Childhood Improvement Branch, Health, Wellbeing and Specialist Services and Student Support Services workforces have collaborated to increase awareness of regional and area workforces to strengthen transition practices from kindergarten to school.During Terms 3 & 4 Early Years Champions/Foundation Co-ordinators will receive fortnightly 'Transition Tips' and invites to attend a series of webinars focused on different aspects to support transition and continuity of learning.
The first webinar of the series will focus on Transition from an Early Childhood perspective. It will include information on how early childhood teachers support transition, provide an overview of the additional year of kindergarten and an interview with Paige Broomhall, Early Childhood Teacher, Hope Frankston Heights.
