Who is this workshop for?• GP Registrars (ACRRM / RACGP)
• Rural Generalists and CMOs
• Doctors working in regional EDs and Urgent Care Centres
• Beginners, early learners and clinicians refreshing practical skills
The Workshop will provide hands-on ultrasound skills for urgent care and regional emergency practice. To maximise learning outcomes each station will have a maximum of 4 participants with a focus on obtaining reproducible views, recognising normal anatomy and understanding major pathology patterns using real Ballarat and regional case examples.
Workshop - 8.30am - 3pm with an optional leacture 3 - 3.30pm
Presenters:
• Dr Allan Whitehead – Regional Ultrasound Educator
• Dr Jaycen Cruickshank – Clinical Lead Ultrasound, Ballarat ED
• Additional FACEM sonographer and eco cardiographer.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
