We are delighted to host our first event in Sorrento.Please join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening with
Christine Balint, author of the recently released historical novel
A Single Witness. Christine will be in conversation with esteemed
local crime author Garry Disher.
A Single Witness is based on the true story of 13 year old Anna Maria Bonon, who took her father to trial for abuse in Venice in 1757 and won her case. It is an important novel about a young woman successfully navigating the legal system, inspired by the old Venetian proverb "It takes seven women to make a single witness."
A night not to be missed.
